NEWS; Spurs half time ratings vs Bayern Munich – No energy and no midfield

Ange Postecoglou’s side head into the break at Seoul World Cup Stadium currently 1-0 down after Vicario’s mistake gifted Bayern a 1-0 advantage.

The Tottenham players have lacked energy throughout the first half.

Tottenham half-time ratings vs Bayern Munich

Guglielmo Vicario: To blame for Bayern’s opener when he played the ball to Spence under pressure. Saved well from Tel. 4.

Pedro Porro: Has shown plenty of energy and looks to be the only Spurs player to understand where the spaces are and what passes to make. 7.

Radu Dragusin: A first start of pre-season for the Romanian. 6.

Ben Davies: With no Bayern forward playing on his shoulder, he has not had to run back towards his goal much. 6.

Djed Spence: Not sure he could have done much about that terrible pass from Vicario. Made a vital headed clearance to deny Bayern a second. Booked. 7.

Archie Gray: Has struggled today against higher-quality opposition. 4.

Pape Matar Sarr: Won the ball back well to drive forward and create a chance for Kulusevski. 5.

James Maddison: Did absolutely nothing of note, looked knackered. 5.

Brennan Johnson: Keeps getting starts despite a poor pre-season, another sub-standard display. 5.

Dejan Kulusevski: Had a shot blocked when he showed good footwork in the build-up after Sarr won the ball. 7.

Heung-Min Son: Had Tottenham’s first chance of the game on seven minutes when he fired high over the bar. Raced back to save a second goal. 6.
