- What a NOTHING game. WSG Tirol are playing without any plan or intensity, and Bayern Munich are just going through the motions.
- Harry Kane is avoiding the box like it’s a trophy. Since his goal, the man has not had a single touch inside the penalty area — he may as well be a midfielder at this point.
- Adin Ličina has been the brightest spot on the Bayern attack so far. He’s playing like a mini-Musiala with silky smooth dribbles and excellent take-ons. It’s crazy how close he came to scoring at the end of the half.
- Kingsley Coman remains a disappointing presence on the wing. Given the space and opportunities he’s had so far, he really should’ve had a goal or assist by now, but he’s not even come close.
- The youngsters have been the highlight so far. Javi Fernandez, Ličina, and Aznou have all been putting on a strong display compared to their senior counterparts. It’s only Vidović who has struggled to get in the game so far, mainly due to Kane occupying the space outside the box where he would otherwise operate.
- Palhinha had one tackle that could be described as Thiago-esque with its timing and execution. Hopefully we see more from him in the second half, if Tirol get their act together and actually do something.

Halftime: Bayern Munich 1-0 WSG Tirol.
3’ — GOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Harry Kane makes it 1-0!
Kickoff: We’re underway!
One hour until kickoff: We have lineups! Looks like Vincent Kompany isn’t taking this one too seriously. That’s basically a B-team. Still, Alphonso Davies and Harry Kane are in the XI — their first starts under the new coach. How will this set of players perform?

Bayern Munich play one final preseason friendly before the start of competitive football this season — the last chance for Vincent Kompany to get any experiments out of his system. This time, the opponents are WSG Tirol, a team from the other (Austrian) Bundesliga, who finished 2nd from the bottom last season and barely escaped relegation. While hardly pushovers, they’re not Champions League caliber opponents (then again, neither were Tottenham).
How will Bayern approach this one? Will Harry Kane start? Will we see any new names in the starting XI? What of the youngsters — will they get more of a chance? Join us as we find out!
