Leeds United are closing in on their fourth signing of the summer transfer window with a £5m deal for Sheffield United defender Jayden Bogle said to be close.
The 23-year-old has been on the Whites’ radar all summer, but initially the two clubs were some distance apart in their valuation. The Blades wanted £7m for the right-back, who comes with a full season of Premier League experience, but Leeds’ initial offer was well short of that
However, it now appears the two clubs have come to an agreement of around £5m for Bogle, with the player set for a medical at Thorp Arch. Presuming that goes smoothly he could be on the plane for the pre-season tour of Germany.
The Telepraph report that a deal is close and that Daniel Farke is set to solve a key issue in his squad. Right-back has been a problem position, with Luke Ayling allowed to leave, Connor Roberts returning to Burnley after a loan spell and Archie Gray sold to Tottenham.
Who ? Are you kidding
