The Boston Celtics are coming off a dominant 2023-2024 campaign.
Not only did they win their 18th Finals title as a franchise, but the Celtics were viewed as legitimate contenders throughout the regular season and playoffs.
This organization has a rich history of success, and with the roster they put together last year, they proved to be unstoppable.
The Celtics have a dynamic one-two punch in Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum, who are among the best duos in the league.
With any luck, this pairing will help the Celtics win more titles in upcoming seasons.
Even though the future is bright for this team, not everyone is a big supporter of what the Celtics have going on.
There have been some questions asked about the viability of Tatum and Brown down the stretch, and whether they can both play well enough to keep this momentum going.
Tatum recently sat down with Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated to discuss his superstar teammate, admitting that he could be better in one area.
As Mannix said, “One regret that Jayson told me he has, is that he wished he was more vocal over the years in support of Jaylen Brown.”
Brown is viewed as a great player now, especially after his dominant performances in the NBA Finals, but this hasn’t always been the case.
He was accused of not having a great left hand, potentially limiting his impact on this roster.
Brown has since turned things around, but as Tatum mentions, he wishes he would have shut down those conversations much sooner.
