NEWS; Nick Wright Questions Clippers’ Loyalty To Kawhi Leonard.

For years, the Los Angeles Clippers entered the NBA season with championship aspirations.

That’s what happens when you have a player of Kawhi Leonard’s caliber, and there weren’t that many better second options than Paul George.

Unfortunately for them, after five years, different supporting casts, and even multiple coaches, the Clippers have absolutely nothing to show for this partnership.

Now, George has taken his talents to the Philadelphia 76ers, all while the Clippers doubled down on Leonard.

With that in mind, sports analyst Nick Wright stated that he had never seen an NBA team so enraptured by it’s star.

Talking on his show, First Things First, he claimed that even though LeBron James has more leverage and power than any player should have, he at least led the Los Angeles Lakers to a championship.

Of course, it’s not like Leonard has hurt himself on purpose or has refused to play; his body has broken down year after year.

Then again, the fact that the Clippers keep doubling down on him has become somewhat mind-boggling at this point.

There’s absolutely no doubt that Leonard is one of the best two-way players this game has ever seen, and he could turn almost every single team into a championship contender.

However, that’s only true if he can actually suit up and play, and that has rarely been the case since he headed back to sunny California after winning a ring with the Toronto Raptors half a decade ago.
