Boxing superstar Tyson Fury risks falling foul of planning chiefs in the latest setback to his plans for a new £2million home just yards from a busy airport.
Heavyweight brawler Tyson Fury has been told he can’t have lights on the roof of his new mansion in case a plane lands on his planned new £2m gaff.
And he’s also been banned from installing solar panels on top of the Grand Designs-style pad because it is just yards from the runway at Manchester Airport and the glass could dazzle pilots.
Bosses from the airport’s safety office say roof lights could confuse pilots as they prepare to land at the busy international hub.
The former champ – who currently lives in Morecambe, Lancs, has also been told that builders cannot create excessive dust or light fires during the construction of the new home – which means the demolition of an existing property on the site – and all trees must be kept under 12 metres.
