Paul’s scheduled bout with Mike Tyson was set to take place last weekend, though with the former undisputed heavyweight champion enduring an ulcer flare up, that fight was pushed back.
The American influencer turned his attention to former UFC contender Mike Perry and convincingly beat him in Tampa, Florida.
Paul will now resume his preparations for Tyson, with the two men scheduled to meet at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington Texas on November 15.
Trouble is, with Tyson hitting the ripe old age of 58, there will always be doubts about the feasibility of this bout.
With that in mind, here are five other opponents Jake Paul could face in the near future.
Tommy Fury
The only blemish on Jake Paul’s professional boxing record comes from February 2023 when he lost to Tommy Fury.
The Brit picked up a split decision victory after an eight-round battle in Saudi Arabia.
A rematch would undoubtedly do great business, though Fury has been out of action since October and there are questions whether he still has the hunger to compete on the influencer scene.
Alex Pereira
Jake Paul had the audacity to call out UFC light-heavyweight champion Alex Pereira after his victory over Mike Perry.
Pereira has been on a hot run since moving up to light-heavyweight, defeating Jan Blachowicz, Jamahal Hill and Jiri Prochazka twice.
The biggest UFC star going up against the biggest influencer boxer would certainly make good business.
Question is, would Pereira be willing to put his current UFC run on pause? It would probably take a lot of zeros.
KSI
Jake Paul and KSI have a lot in common – including defeats to Tommy Fury.
The two men are mega social media stars and a bout between them would generate immense interest… and no doubt, cash.
A fight between Paul and KSI has been talked about for years, though terms are yet to be agreed.
Nate Diaz (MMA)
Jake Paul picked up a unanimous decision win over Nate Diaz in a 10-rounder last year. For the 39-year-old UFC legend, that was his first taste of professional boxing.
Talk of a rematch has been ongoing, including a possible fight inside of the octagon.
Paul has signed with the PFL while Diaz is a free agent, meaning a deal for an MMA bout could very well be struck.
Andrew Tate
The former kickboxing champion broke the internet when he squared up with Jake Paul in Dubai a couple of years ago.
Tate previously admitted he would be willing to fight the American influencer in what would be an internet blockbuster.
The 35-year-old is going through ongoing legal issues, meaning we may have to wait before a fight can finally be arranged.
