Milan have reignited their interest in Armando Broja and contacted Chelsea to understand the margins of a possible deal.
The Rossoneri set their sights on the 22-year-old Albanian striker at the start of June and fly out to London for talks with the Blues. They ultimately moved away to focus on other targets and the player looked to be on the cusp of transferring to Everton.
Milan have already picked up one new striker this summer, signing Alvaro Morata from Atletico Madrid, and they’ve continued searching for reinforcements, being heavily linked with a move for Borussia Dortmund’s Niclas Fullkrug.
Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com details how Milan have reopened talks with Chelsea to understand if there’s an opportunity to make a move for Broja now that a move to Everton has failed to materialise.
For now, the Rossoneri haven’t abandoned the idea of signing either Fullkrug or Roma’s Tammy Abraham, but have now also started reconsidering the idea of a loan move for Broja.
