BREAKING NEWS; Harry Kane sends warning to Bayer Leverkusen…..

Hotshot Harry Kane has fired off a warning to Bayer Leverkusen as he hunts for Bundesliga title revenge.

The England captain didn’t win a single trophy last season after an £86million transfer to Bayern Munich from Tottenham Hotspur.

Instead it was a history-making Leverkusen who stunned the Bavarian behemoths.

They romped to their first ever league title, finishing 18 points ahead of Bayern Munich who could only end the season third behind surprise package Stuttgart.

Kane and his teammates are in no mood to let it happen again though.

They demolished Werder Bremen, beating them 5-0 with Kane himself getting a goal and two assists.

That takes his goal tally to five, whiles he’s created four for teammates, while this week alone he has eight goals and three assists.

More impressively against Bremen, summer signing Michael Olise scored twice and made two, including one for Kane.

And, with Leverkusen up next, English striker Kane has fired off a warning to their title rivals.

“It was a great week. Congratulations to the lads for the right attitude and mentality,” he said.

“The way we played with and without possession is the kind of style we want to show in the upcoming games as well. You could tell that we kept pushing, even after the second and third goals. We are Bayern Munich.”

He continued: “It’s definitely going to be a different game against Leverkusen. They showed last season how strong they are. It’s going to be a tough game.

“We have to show the same mentality and the same hunger for success that we showed here and in our previous games.

“We’re playing at home, it’s October, and it’s going to be a great game.”

Leverkusen currently sit second in the table, three points behind Bayern having lost to RB Leipzig already this season.

It was a devastating blow to a team who didn’t lose a single match in the league across the last campaign and only lost one in total – the Europa League final against Atalanta.
