BREAKING NEWS; Milan To Sign Benjamin Sesko After Three Years Of Struggle

Benjamin Sesko has been on the mind of AC Milan for three years now, and they had a chance to sign him in the summer mercato, but they didn’t. Their admiration for the striker has continued to grow, but their chances of signing him have drastically fallen.

With Milan looking to sign a striker, the profile of Sesko was at large once again for the Rossoneri. The 21-year-old was not utilised at RB Leipzig last season, and there was a belief that he could be bought in the summer.

However, the Diavolo opted to go down a different route, and Sesko remained in Germany, albeit with a Haaland-like clause being inserted into his contract – effectively, he is the master of his own destiny as long as a price is met.

During the summer, reports suggested that he was available for a figure of €65 million, which already would have been pushing the boat for the Rossoneri, and this is probably a large reason why another route was taken.

It is reported by Calciomercato.com that the new clause in his deal is worth around €75-80m, which is far out of the reach of Milan or any other Italian clubs, meaning a move to England is more likely.

Against Juventus on Tuesday, he showed his quality by scoring a brace against Juventus. After three years of scouting, Milan will probably be left regretting not taking the plunge.
