Big things are expected from Angel Reese in 2025 as the former LSU superstar enters her second season with the Chicago Sky. The 22-year-old took the WNBA by storm in her rookie year, and the general expectation is that Year 2 is going to be even bigger for Reese. For her part, though, Reese isn’t only looking forward to a noteworthy season for herself. The Randallstown, Maryland native is also expecting big things from her younger brother, Julian Reese.
Angel Reese took to X, formerly Twitter, on Monday to come out with a fearless forecast on what the fans should expect from Julian Reese this coming season as the 6-foot-9 forward enters his senior year at the University of Maryland.
Much like Angel Reese, her brother Julian Reese is also a star on the court in his own right. Last year, the 6-foot-9 forward averaged 13.7 points (on 54.6 percent shooting), 9.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.9 blocks in 31.9 minutes per game for the Terrapins. Earlier this year, there were rumors about Julian Reese potentially transferring schools. However, the 21-year-old eventually announced his decision to remain in Maryland for his senior year. There are some big expectations for Julian Reese this coming season as he hopes to lead the Terrapins to a potential return to the NCAA Tournament. It appears, however, that nobody has bigger expectations of him than his big sister, Angel Reese.
